Time To Start?

Well I figured it was about time I actually made a post in my blog.  I keep reading up on all the stitchers I “follow” and get depressed that I can’t seem to find to stitch lately.  I am currently working on 2 projects…. one for myself (Catia’s patchwork sampler) and a wedding sampler for a friend.  I am currently on part 5/12 of the Patchwork sampler.  I will hopefully find more time since my Wednesday night dart league has come to an end.

Another project that has been keeping me busy is the Cobourg Museum Foundation. I became a board member in the fall of 2008.  I can’t wait until the spring to see the work that is going to be done on the “barracks” and hopefully the 1800’s cottage we inherited.  If you get a minute, please take a look at the web site… it is very amazing to see what has already been done.

Speaking of darts, my Wednesday night league is done… and I think I went out with a bang… got 2 double outs and a high score of 92.  Hopefully over the summer I can practice more and improve on next year.  I am also in a Friday night mixed league at the Cobourg Legion.  I had 2 double outs last week, so hopefully can do just as well or better tomorrow night.  Wish me luck!!

Well today my laptop came in the mail… so hopefully I can keep more up to date with blogging, email, and all the other joys of the internet.  I am sure my hubby will be happy I won’t be using his computer as often!!

Well I think this is a good start to introduce myself to the blogging world… will hopefully just keep up with it!

Don't be depressed. Not everyone has tons of time to stitch...just stitch whenever you want to and don't fee obligated. :) Your museum work sounds fascinating.

Thanks Carolyn... there just isn't enough hours in the day is there.
The stone building we are saving is actually the oldest standing building in the town where I live... I needs to be safed.
Thanks again for your comment!
