November 3rd - reason to celebrate

Last night I was a good girl and did 10 minutes on the Arc Trainer before doing my 45 minute "Goddess" Yoga.  OMG word is spreading about Nancy's class... if was a packed house last night.  There were times that this actually made keeping focus hard, but I tried.  Tonight I will be working on my last CGA assignment of the semester... oh how fun!

Now on to your reason to clebrate for the day!

Today is the birthday of John Montagu, the fourth Earl of Sandwich.  It is also National Sandwich Day!

Amazing to think where we have come from one 24-hour gambling event.  If you don't know, it was during said gambling event in which our dear John instructed his servents to serve him his lunch meat between two slices of bread!

One website I was at mentioned that hamburgers are the most popular sandwich.
Since subway moved out of down town Port Hope, if I need to get lunch out, I stop at a little cafe called C'Est Please and get their turkey sandwich.  It is served with a Mango Chutney, which is amazing!

One question though.... I wonder what Mr. Montagu would think of the new KFC Double Down?

Here is a question for you...
Have you tried the Double Down?  Do you want to ?

The doubel down looks disgusting. Are the fast food places having a competition to see who makes the highest calorie, fat, and sodium meal out there?
