Quebec City 2011, part 1

On the 22nd, Dani and I along with our other half's Todd and Blair made our way to Quebec City.
That night we didn't do anything too exciting but did manage to find a showing of Harry Potter in English.

Saturday morning we headed to breakfast and then made our way into the old city.  Below are some pics I took along the full day of walking around.
Some graffiti around our hotel

Flowers in the Joan of Arc Garden

Statue of Joan of Arc

Walking on the boardwalk beside the Chateau Frontenac

One of the various street performers
This guy would move if you gave him money

One of the many statues hidden around the city

Looking down into the lower city

Lower city
and also the place we ate..food was amazing!

Saturday night we also did the ghost walk.  I got back to the hotel tired, but it was a great day.

Stay tuned for part 2 when visited not one but two waterfalls :)

It was a great weekend! Would you beleive I lost my Graffiti shots? I re-formatted my card that night forgetting we had taken some photos on Friday when we arrived! Duh! That's twice I've done that now!!!

Before we moved to southern Ontario we lived in the small town of Magog, Quebec. It is about 1 1/2 hours from Quebec city. I miss it sometimes, but I do have lots of wonderful friends now. A lot of them are stitchers, we are more sisters than friends. My blogging friends are very special too.

It looks like the four of you had a fabulous time! I've really enjoyed the photos. It's been several years since I've visited QC and I'd love to go back.
