Pay It Forward

Pay It Forward (PIF)
Random Act of Kindness (RAK)

What ever you call it, when it happens to you it definitely puts a smile on your face!

This morning I was going through the local Tim Horton's Drive Thru.  I ordered my French Vanilla and Bagel and continued to the window.  Before the cashier even tells me the amount, I start to hand her a $5.  She then informs me the lady in front of me has paid for my order... I WAS FLOORED!  I have heard about PIF happening at Tim Horton's for a while now, but this was a first for me.

I will paying it forward later this week :)

Now do you know about the movie Pay it Forward?  In it you need to PIF to three different people and this is what I want to do.

PIF at Tim Hortons will be 1 for me

I am still thinking of a second one for my area

For Number 3?  Well I want my readers to help me.  I want you to link me to a stitching blogger who you feel is deserving of PIF.  I will then make that person a beaded Scissor Fob.  This way I am not only PIF, but you are too :)

I will randomly pick a winner this weekend.

Hope you all have a great day!

I don't know if you'll ship overseas or not, Bonnie but if you would, I'd nominate Siobhan from Blue Hen Hollow. She has inspired so many of us in the blogging and stitching community and her blog posts are so fun to read. But, she hasn't had her stitching or blogging mojo in a while and maybe a little PIF giftie would cheer her up. Siobhan is my nominee.

That must have made your morning.

I'll have to think about your PIF - there are a number of bloggers that I really enjoy reading.

I would like to nominate Melanie - at Melanie the WIP Slayer. This is a blog I really enjoy and I personally have benefited from her kindness when I was RAK'd 10 skeins of verigated DMC. Her work is phenomenal and she is very active in the cross stitching community.

Visit her blog: http://melaniethewipslayer.blogspot.ca/

Pumpkin over at Pumpkin Patch & Co. She's in the middle of a battle for her life. While she's quite upbeat, I'm thinking a gift would be welcome. How very neat that you were the recipient of a PIF!

What a great way to PIF.
I would like to nominate Jennifer of Feathers In The Nest. I think she deserves a sweet RAK for her inspiring strength towards life, of being a woman with great heart and her kindness in sharing her wonderful designs unconditionally.

Do visit her at : http://feathersinthenest.blogspot.com

Just want to say "thanks!" to Jocelyn for nominating me; you have no idea how much you brightened my day just by thinking of me. :)
