wedding

Yesturday I took the day off studying so I could attend my brother-in-laws wedding.
It turned out to be a beautiful day.

Here are some pics from the day.  Sorry they aren't the greatest... I did not have much luck in a very dark church.

Photohunt - Wet/Rain

When I saw the theme for the this week I knew what photo I wanted to post
I just had to find it... and I am so glad I did.

Back in 2008 I went to a corn roast at my cousin's house.  Later in the afternoon, the kids were getting a little restless so John pulled out a bucket, filled it with water, and dumped in a bag of apples.

The kids LOVED it!!

I actually picked 2 pics for today.  They are both of my cousin Christine and John's kids.

Katelyn didn't get an apple, but still looked like
a princess :)

Family and Stitching

I had no idea it has been so long since I last posted.

Last weekend (June 12/13) I went to visit my cousin Bill and his family at his cottage in the Muskokas.  A bunch of the family was up to look at the memorial garden that was started 2 years ago after the death of my uncle Bill.

Saturday's weather was a little chilly and damp, but we enjoyed sitting around the camp fire.  Saturday night Bill and Tish cooked an amazing dinner for us.  Smoked roast beef, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, dill carrots, and these baked onions.  SO YUMMY!!

Sunday after a big filling breakfast we went for a boat ride around the lake of bays.

I didnt' get much stitching done but had a wonderful relazing weekend.
Here are some pictures from the weekend

Update on Growth Rings

I can't believe I  have not posted in a few weeks.
I do have an excuse and unfortuately it wasn't stitching related
My gramma passed away January 11th after not being well for a very long time.
Here is a pic of us on my wedding day

As for stitching, I did get some done on my Paradigm lost and Growth Rings.
I don't have an update pic on my PL, but here is my Growth Rings as of last night

Last night I went looking for my little angels... they were just too quiet!.  I found them snuggled up on the top bunk in "their" room.  They were so cute, but of course didn't stay until I could get the camera.  Here is a pic of Sheldon I did manage to get though.  My little cutie!

Hope you all have a great and productive week!
