Some ornaments

I realized tonight that I have been a bad blogger again
After my exam I have kinda checked out of everything.... Studying for it really took a lot out of me. Hopefully my next course won't be as bad. I think it will be in one aspect, as it isn't open book. I spend a lot of time marking up the Canadian tax act!

Anyway, on to more festive topics...

I have been finishing up my dragon dreams ornaments






















All the backs are the same, except they all include their specific number



I also went stash diving and made some ornaments using the sulky blendables and Rosewood Manors Red Threads.













I have a few things to show you, but as they are gifts for people who might read this :)

Christmas Spirit + Winner

Hearing Christmas music on the radio this week has made me a little grouchy.  I haven't had the biggest Christmas Spirit lately, but am not usually bothered by the holiday season as soon as December 1st hits.

This morning I think I discovered what was bothering me.
About a month ago, with the help of my dear hubby,  I decided that enough was enough and it was time to put up a tree again, as well as some other decorations.
Since in my head I have to wait until December 1st, I was not in a rush
.
Due to my exam I was not been able to do anything this pasts weekend..  Being out a few days earlier in the week with my tooth issues didn't help either!
I think realizing it is now December and feeling I don't have time to get in the Christmas Spirit is what is foiling my mood!

I am actually looking forward to Sunday when I can get all the stuff in the crawl space and actually put something up.

Its funny how something that can be so small and trivial can do things to your brain.

ouchy + reminder

I have done no stitching since the weekend.  Even when I have a break from studying, I haven't even felt like it.  The reason?  A big time toothache!  It decided to show up Sunday and totally has destroyed my study plan.

I had a root canal on Wednesday, and am feeling a bit better.  Hopefully I get get lots of studying done this weekend so I'm not as stressed about it all

Also, I wanted to send out a reminder that I am having a giveaway on my 400th post.  It is only open until Saturday night (Nov 30th) and have only had 12 comments.

Still kicking + giveaway

Yes... I'm still here! I have just been busy with company, stitching, and my course.

I have also been continuing to go through my stash room.

That is what brings me to this post... A giveaway

Nothing to show + reminder

Well this has been the last full week of "tax season" in Canada.  I can't complain too much as I actually haven't done a tax return for work this year.. a few for friends but that is it!  But, this doesn't mean I haven't been doing over time... I have TONS of corporate year end work to do and even with April 30th looming, this doesn't end.  One nice thing though... tomorrow will be my last Saturday to work.

I have felt very tired this week and have not actually put needle to fabric since Sunday.  I hope to change this tomorrow after work.  Tonight hubby is taking me for a belated birthday dinner.  Hopefully I will have a picture to show you on Sunday of some work to summer.

200th Post!!

I was getting a few posts ready the other day for the photo hunt and realized that I almost had 200 posts.
I think this is actually pretty cool!

So.... since I haven't done anything for my Blogiversary, I have decided to do a give-away for this post.  Since I haven't finished going through my stash for things I want to sell or give away, I have decided to make a beaded scissor fob for the give away.  I am very new to beading, so don't promise perfection, but if you would like to see my past work click here.
