This picture was taken in 2009 during a visit to the Royal Ontario Museum. This is just a section of the seven metre-long funerary text dating back to 320 B.C. This book of the dead is attributed to Amen-em-hat.
It is absolutely amazing that these artefacts have lasted this long!

I often wonder how things this old and seemingly organic do last. they are more sturdy than we give them credit for.
