The theme for January was:
Jardin January
The holidays were a little stressful...let's relax in a nice garden. Work on any piece with flowers or gardens.
Well I worked on Maple leaf, Sampler gameboard, and Smaug.
The maple leaf could quality since leaves are in gardens
The Gameboard does have some flowers... but haven't really done much of those yet
Smaug really doesn't have flowers
The ornament theme was:

I finished day one of the dragon dreams dronglets of 2012 which is "Partridge in a pear tree" or is it "dragon in a pear tree" lol

Great progress on all your pieces. I'd count the maple leaf in the theme. Its from the garden.
Oh my! Stitching to a theme sounds like a pretty big challenge to me. You did great at meeting the theme!
